At The Gove Group, we’re big believers in giving back. We always aim to help the communities we live and do business in. We’ve been working in Brentwood for the past two years developing The Villages at Three Ponds, a 55+ community, which is why we recently partnered with the Brentwood Historical Society. We heard they were in need of a stairlift to ensure the safety of their volunteers, so The Gove Group and 3-Ponds, LLC, the builder/developer at The Villages at Three Ponds, decided we would contribute to the project.
The Brentwood Historical Society has been an all-volunteer-based organization since their founding in 1968 and are in the process of cataloging the Historical Society collection to enter into their database. As a result, they have been moving these objects and memorabilia between two floors, using steep stairs that do not meet current safety codes. The Board of Directors decided the best course of action to solve this safety hazard would be installing a stairlift. The Gove Group is grateful to have been able to contribute to the funding for this project so that the volunteers can safely continue their work.
